Mother of Pearl
rue Mother of Pearl is the inside layer of a mollusk’s shell, smooth and shiny and usually pinkish and iridescent. The Pearllery’s mother of pearl jewelry is made of ground-up Mother of Pearl, from the oyster, which is mixed with a binder, colored and formed into lovely shiny beads of various sizes, so is a manufactured item.

JESSICA is most unusual and attractive--She has three strands of multiple Mother of Pearl colors in green, yellow, white, black and cranberry with sterling silver sleeves, and the bead sizes differ from 8 to 10 mm. The shortest length is 16". So many of our clients just love Jessica--you will too!

TAHIA faux Tahitian Pearl necklace on Sterling wire
We offer TAHIA, a faux Tahitian pearl necklace in white or black, on Sterling wire. The Mother of Pearl beads are teardrop in shape--13 mm wide by 18 mm long. They're not the real thing, by hundreds of dollars, but are in themselves quite stunning. In the photos we also show the REAL thing, and you can see the quality of the false Tahitian you are getting!
VANESSA Mother of Pearl Necklace in different colors
VANESSA is a lovely mother of pearl necklace in 17 inches, which comes in three colors. Available in white/pink/cranberry, brown/taupe/lt pink or blue-gray/lavender/white, the cranberry necklace has 12 mm beads; the others are 10 mm. This necklace will delight you when tucked into the neck of a blouse or dress. We have several mother of pearl stud earrings which will go with either of the necklaces.
